About Us

Kyle Cheatwood has been an EHS Instructor in Hampton Roads for over 20 years. His teaching journey started in the United States Coast Guard, where he spent more than four years training both officers and enlisted personnel on topics like Hazardous Waste Operations, CBR (chemical, biological, and radiological), cold water survival, and general safety for their daily missions. After being honorably discharged, he became a Senior Safety Inspector for BAE Systems in Norfolk, VA, and Jacksonville, FL. Later, he joined Sunbelt Scaffold Services, working his way up to Project Safety Manager. Kyle has actively participated in the VSRA and JSRA (Virginia and Jacksonville Ship Repair Association) for over a decade, earning two Safety Suggestion Awards for Fall Protection and Traffic Control during his time with VSRA. Currently, he is in his senior year at Columbia Southern University, pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health. In 2020, he founded Mobile Safety Training Solutions with the goal of providing essential and required training to workers in the industrial, construction, and shipyard industries.
